Restaurant Muru is a small bistro style restaurant located in the heart of Helsinki at Fredrikinkatu.
Muru’s idea is to offer fresh well made food from the best ingredients available daily. The menu changes all the time, but we also offer house specialities like Sir Lintsi’s Paté en croute, Bouillabaisse, Risotto and Chocolate fondant. By the way, Sir Lintsi is one of the owners of Muru. Another owner Chef Henri Alen is specialized in sauces, that’s why sauce béarnaise is often on the menu. It’s his favourite sauce.
Muru also have a selection of over 200 wines. The idea is to find small producers with great price/quality. Sommelier owner Samuil Angelov is developing the wine list all the time and working to find good wines. We mostly serve European wines and champagnes to accompany our classic cuisine. Muru is not a stiff finedining restaurant; we are fundining. Welcome!
